We are looking for a skilled Trailer Technician / HGV Trailer Mechanic to join a busy fleet workshop in Nuneaton. This is a hands-on, permanent role where you’ll carry out inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers, ensuring all vehicles are safe, compliant, and roadworthy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carry out inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on trailers

  • Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs

  • Work closely with a supportive technical team

  • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation

  • Ensure trailers meet safety and roadworthiness standards

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Mechanical experience on trailers, HGVs, or similar vehicles

  • Strong fault-finding and repair skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Previous experience as a Trailer Technician or Mobile Trailer Mechanic

  • Knowledge of trailer braking systems, suspension, and axles

  • Customer-facing experience
