Workshop Administrator
Managed Workshop / VMU Administrator — Reading — £26,440 (Mon–Fri 09:00–17:30, Permanent)
Join a busy service operation as a Managed Workshop Administrator / VMU Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Service Administrator / Aftersales Administrator. You’ll be the link between the workshop, technicians, suppliers and customers, ensuring smooth processes, accurate invoicing and excellent service. Based in Reading, you’ll also support activity across Reading and Wellingborough.
The role — Managed Workshop / VMU / Workshop Administrator
Create job cards, convert defects to work orders, track technician clockings and parts issues, then raise accurate invoices
Manage retail invoicing (including fleets); progress to service contract & warranty claims (training provided)
Consolidate out of contract costs and complete weekly invoicing
Resolve invoice queries with suppliers; ensure quotes are accurate and cost?effective
Chase purchase orders so associated invoices can be approved on time
Act as the first point of contact for customer/admin enquiries and provide day to day team support
What you’ll bring
Strong administration skills and confidence with invoicing and customer service in a fast paced setting
Computer literate with great attention to detail; able to prioritise multiple tasks
Clear, professional communication with technicians, suppliers and customers
(Desirable) Experience with Keyloop/Kerridge or similar DMS; basic product knowledge

Salary: £26,440 per annum
Hours: Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30 (40 hours)
