LCV Technician / Van Technician — Newport — £17.00 p/h (Days, Mon–Fri, No Weekends)

Great opportunity for an LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Technician / Van Mechanic / Service Technician to join a busy Newport workshop. You’ll handle servicing, diagnostics and repairs on LCVs/light commercials—on a straight day shift with no weekend working.

The role — LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician

• Service, inspect and repair LCVs/light commercials to manufacturer/DVSA standards

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults; complete effective repairs

• Accurately maintain job cards, service records and compliance documentation

• Help maintain a safe, tidy and efficient workshop environment

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience as an LCV Technician / Van Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Technician

• Level 3 Light Vehicle or relevant equivalent (NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI)

• Strong diagnostics, fault?finding and problem?solving skills

• Full UK driving licence

Pay, hours & type

• Rate: £17.00 per hour

• Hours: 08:00–16:30, Monday–Friday (no weekends)

• Job type: Permanent, full?time

• Location: Newport
