Basic Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Working Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday

Our client is looking for a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator, to join their busy accident repair centre and become a fully qualified VDA. This would be an ideal job for a repair technician looking for that next step.

Responsibilities of a the Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator:

  • Appraise a damaged vehicle and identify and record damage, including impact zone and severity

  • Access industry vehicle repair methods and apply them appropriately

  • Interpret and accurately apply estimating software system

  • Using relevant measures to get the vehicle back to pre-accident condition in line with Audatex estimates 

  • Along with your standard duties you will have off the job learning 

Qualifications and skills needed for Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator role:

  • Must have previous experience in the Automotive Accident Repair 

  • Panel, Paint or MET experience is desirable 

  • Computer literate

  • Good maths and English

  • Be able to communicate confidently with both customers and clients

  • Customer friendly
