Salary: Up to £16.06 per hour (based on experience) plus overtime at time and a half when worked
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced PDI Technician to join a busy new vehicle Pre Delivery Inspection workshop in Westbury. You will prepare new vehicles for delivery, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. The role includes fitment of specialist equipment such as fridges and tail lifts, with full specialist training provided. You will work within a team that takes pride in delivering vehicles ready for customers while maintaining excellent safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities of a PDI Technician:

  • Prepare new vehicles for delivery to the customer to the highest standards

  • Fit specialist ancillary equipment including fridges and tail lifts

  • Ensure vehicles meet safety, performance, and quality expectations

  • Complete any required documentation or checks for vehicle readiness

  • Participate in training to expand knowledge of new vehicle types and equipment

Skills and Qualifications for a PDI Technician:

Essential:

  • Experience in vehicle preparation, inspection, or similar workshop environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

  • Motivation to succeed both individually and as part of a team

  • Resilience in handling workload and challenges

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with commercial vehicles or specialist equipment fitment

  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in a workshop environment

  • Manufacturer training or relevant technical certifications
