Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:30, Friday 07:00-15:30.

Role Overview:
We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Bodybuilder / Coachbuilder / HGV Bodybuilder to join our Trafford Park workshop. You will work on commercial vehicle builds, including insulated panels, tail lifts, and electrical terminations. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, adherence to H&S standards, and a passion for delivering high-quality vehicle builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Read engineering drawings and work from works orders
Install insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies
Terminate lighting, switches, and tail lifts electrically
Seal joints, floors, and roofs using silicone and gel coatings
Cut metals, woods, and plastics using hand tools and bench equipment
Maintain high standards of workshop and vehicle housekeeping
Work independently and take initiative to meet timelines
Support additional projects as directed
Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures
Essential Skills and Experience:
Vehicle Bodybuilding / Coachbuilding experience
Experience with commercial vehicle builds, insulated panels, and tail lifts
Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Reliable transport to site
Commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing
