What you’ll be doing

  • Carry out fabrication, fitting, and modification work on HGVs and commercial vehicles

  • Perform some HGV Technician duties including routine servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnostics

  • Work with steel, aluminium, and other materials to a high standard

  • Read and work from technical drawings and job specifications

  • Use workshop equipment, tools, and machinery safely and efficiently

  • Complete work accurately while maintaining strong attention to detail

  • Support the workshop team and contribute to a positive, productive working environment

Who we’re looking for

Essential

  • Proven experience as an HGV Fitter, Fabricator, or Commercial Vehicle Fitter

  • Ability to carry out basic HGV Technician tasks (servicing, maintenance, diagnostics)

  • Strong fabrication and fitting skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

  • Good attention to detail and pride in your work

Desirable

  • Experience working on commercial vehicles or trailers

  • Welding qualifications advantageous but not essential
