Shifts: Rotating early and late shifts, plus 1 in 3 weeks on call (24/7 cover)

We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in West Thurrock. This role offers excellent earning potential with a £60,500 basic salary, overtime at enhanced rates, and a call out payment. You will work a rotating shift pattern and be part of a 24/7 on-call rota, ensuring vehicles are kept roadworthy and safe.

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

  • Carry out service, maintenance and repairs on HGVs

  • Complete roadside breakdown support when required

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults

  • Work to manufacturer and industry standards

  • Maintain accurate service records and compliance documents

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician

Essential

  • Level 3 HGV Technician qualification or equivalent

  • Experience working on HGVs, ideally dealership background

  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

  • Full UK manual driving licence

Desirable

  • Breakdown and roadside repair experience

  • HGV Class 1 licence
