HGV Mechanic

Location: Hampshire 
Salary: £45,000
Hours: Monday to Friday - Days
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician . This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy, professional environment offering competitive pay, varied shift patterns, and opportunities for development.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles, meeting high-quality industry standards

• Use your expertise to diagnose faults and accurately address mechanical issues

• Work well within a team to support smooth workshop operations and achieve targets

• Maintain a positive, proactive attitude when solving technical problems

• Communicate clearly with colleagues, ensuring all repair documentation and progress updates are accurate and timely

• Adhere to company procedures and processes, meeting and exceeding performance targets

• Report opportunities for improvements and actively participate in training to develop your skills

Knowledge / Skills / Experience / Special Requirements

• Valid UK driver’s licence with a good driving record

• HGV licence preferred

• Proven experience as a qualified HGV Technician or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent

• IRTEC licence highly desirable

• Ability to work alternate shifts and adapt to changing schedules
