Hours: Monday to Friday, with overtime available

A well-established commercial vehicle operation is looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their Shepshed team. This workshop-based role offers excellent earning potential, structured training, and one of the best benefits packages in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers to high safety and quality standards
Diagnose and resolve faults using systems including HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
Complete compliance documentation accurately and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service and meet deadlines in a busy workshop environment
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
Attend product training including IRTEC, tail lift, axle and brake training
Support and uphold company values in all aspects of your work
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience working on semi-trailers or HGVs
Relevant industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQ)
Ability to follow health and safety procedures and compliance guidelines
Desirable Skills (Not Essential):
HGV Class 1 licence
IRTEC accreditation
Experience with EBS diagnostics (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)
Welding certification
Axle, tail lift, or lifting deck system experience
