Basic Salary: £45,000 per annum
OTE: £52,000 with overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)

Our client is looking for a talented and efficient Trailer Technician with industry-recognised qualifications to join their leading team. You’ll be responsible for servicing, inspecting, and repairing trailers to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities for a Trailer Technician

  • Carry out detailed trailer inspections, servicing, and repairs

  • Diagnose and repair faults using EBS systems (HALDEX, WABCO, KNORR BREMSE)

  • Complete all compliance and service documentation accurately

  • Meet tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality repair standards

  • Maintain workshop safety and follow all health & safety procedures

  • Attend training including IRTEC, tail lift, and BPW & SAF axle/brake courses

Skills and Qualifications for a Trailer Technician
Essential:

  • Experience with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles

  • Industry standard qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ)

Desirable:

  • HGV Class 1 driving licence

  • IRTEC accreditation

  • EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)

  • Welding certification

  • Training or experience with BPW, SAF, JOST axles

  • Experience with tail lift, double-deck, or lifting deck systems
