Welder

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40–45 hours per week (overtime available)
Pay: Up to £16.60 per hour DOE
Job Type: Permanent (fixed term or temporary contracts also considered)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Welder / MIG Welder / TIG Welder / Fabricator Welder to join a professional manufacturing environment in Trafford Park. This Welder / MIG Welder / TIG Welder / Fabricator Welder role involves producing high quality welded components in mild steel, stainless steel and alloy for bespoke vehicle assemblies, where accuracy, finish and detail are essential.

The Role:
• Weld mild steel, stainless steel and alloy using MIG & TIG
• Measure, cut and finish welded components to high standards
• Maintain tools, equipment and workstation
• Follow housekeeping, safety and fire risk procedures
• Use grinders, saws and fabrication tools as required
• Train and support junior team members
• Work independently, managing workload and quality

The Requirements:
• Experience as a Welder / MIG Welder / TIG Welder / Fabricator Welder
• MIG & TIG welding experience essential
• Coded welder preferred
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes
• Full understanding of workshop H&S
• Own tools required
