Roadside HGV Technician

Location: West Midlands (based from Tipton)
Hours: Night shift
Pay: £17.00–£20.00 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Roadside Technician / Mobile HGV Technician / Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a busy night?shift roadside support team covering the West Midlands. This Roadside Technician / Mobile HGV Technician role involves attending live breakdowns, carrying out mobile repairs, and supporting commercial fleets with high?quality, safe and compliant roadside assistance.

The Role:
• Attend live roadside breakdowns
• Carry out mobile repairs on trucks & trailers
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical & EBS faults
• Repair deck & tail?lift systems (training provided)
• Support recovery team when required
• Follow roadside safety processes & compliance protocols
• Maintain accurate communication & documentation

The Requirements:
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 1–3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience as a Roadside Technician / Mobile HGV Technician
• Strong diagnostic & fault?finding ability
• Knowledge of EBS, tail?lifts & hydraulic systems (training available)
• Strong communication & customer?facing skills
• HGV licence desirable
