Parts Manager
Annual Salary: up to £40,000 DOE
Working Hours: 45h week Monday - Friday
Location: Reading
Extras: Achievable Bonus, 30 Days holiday, Flexible Start and Finish Times
Our Client is looking for an experienced Parts Manager to lead and develop their busy parts department. Ideally you will have a strong background within the automotive Bodyshop or dealership environment and a proven track record in managing teams, stock control, and driving departmental performance. As Parts Manager you will be highly organised, commercially aware, and focused on delivering excellent customer service while maximising profitability.
Responsibilities of a Parts Manager:
Managing the day-to-day running of the parts department
Supervising and motivating a team of Parts Advisors
Ordering, selling and managing stock control on a wide range of vehicle parts and accessories
Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers
Monitoring department performance, KPIs, and profitability
Ensuring efficient handling of trade and retail customers
Implementing processes to improve efficiency and service levels
Skills and Qualifications of a Parts Manager:
Kerridge / Autoflow / Parts link systems knowledge or similar systems
Previous experience in a Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and stock control ability
Strong customer service and sales skills
Confident in achieving targets and driving performance
