Annual Salary: £35,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 45h week

Job Description for Car Polisher / Quality Controller:
We are currently seeking an experienced Car Polisher / Quality Controller to join our busy and professional bodyshop team. This is a key role focused on delivering consistently high-quality vehicle finishes and ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards before handover to customers.

As a Car Polisher / Quality Controller, you will be responsible for the final presentation and inspection of vehicles, ensuring excellent workmanship, attention to detail, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities for Car Polisher / Quality Controller:

• Machine polishing and finishing vehicles to a high standard

• Carrying out final quality inspections prior to vehicle handover

• Ensuring all repair work matches job cards and estimates

• Identifying and reporting defects, damage or rectification requirements

• Ensuring all new parts have been correctly fitted

• Maintaining clean, safe and organised working areas

• Adhering to all health & safety, environmental and company policies

• Liaising with workshop control and technicians during final stages of repair

• Completing relevant documentation clearly and accurately

Experience & Qualifications of Car Polisher / Quality Controller:

• Proven experience as a vehicle polisher and/or quality controller

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bodyshop environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Knowledge of health & safety and industry standards

• Full UK driving licence preferred
