Paint Sprayer

Location: Croydon
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 45 hours per week
Extras: Bonus scheme available

Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional Paint Technician who is confident working with water-based paints and has extensive hands-on experience within a car painting environment.

Key Responsibilities for a Panel Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician:

• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking and priming surfaces

• Accurately mix paints to match manufacturer colours and apply using spray guns

• Deliver a smooth, high-quality finish free from runs, sags or imperfections

• Carry out touch-ups and final finishing work where required

• Maintain and clean all spray equipment, ensuring a safe and tidy working environment

• Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations

• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations

• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain an efficient workflow and high-quality results

Experience & Requirements of a Panel Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician:

• Proven experience producing high-quality paintwork from start to finish

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using water-based paint systems

• A stable employment history as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician

• City & Guilds qualification or equivalent ATA accreditation

• Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and a commitment to working to a high standard
