Paint Sprayer

Location: Westbury
Basic Salary: Up to £17p/h + monthly bonus
Hours: 45-hour week – Mon-Fri
Extras: 30 days holiday, additional qualifications, bonus structure

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer for a full-time permanent role. You’ll be confident with water-based paints and bring extensive hands-on experience within a vehicle painting environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Paint Sprayer

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces

• Mix paint to match colours and apply using spray guns

• Ensure smooth, even paint application without runs, sags, or imperfections

• Perform touch-ups and finish work as required

• Maintain and clean all painting equipment and keep a tidy workspace

• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations

• Inspect finished work to ensure it meets industry standards and customer expectations

• Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and deliver high-quality results

Skills and Qualifications for a Paint Sprayer
Essential

• Proven ability to produce high-quality paint spraying from start to finish

• Experience with water-based paints

• Stable work history in a car painting environment

• City & Guilds qualification or equivalent ATA accreditation

• Strong up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques

Desirable

• Manufacturer training or additional certifications
