LCV Technician

Location: Reading
Hours: 40 hours, early shift 06:00–14:30, Saturdays 06:00–12:00 when required
Pay: Up to £21 per hour, overtime at 1.5x including Saturday mornings

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified Level 3 Van Technician / LCV Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to work on site at Reading Borough Council, delivering a dedicated and professional service. This is a stable, long-term role within a structured commercial vehicle environment.

The Role:
• Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer procedures
• Work to Renault Standard Times using approved tools
• Assist with fault diagnosis and repair planning
• Comply with warranty procedures and documentation
• Liaise with parts team to ensure correct components are fitted

The Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in LCV Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Completed apprenticeship in LCV or HGV industry or equivalent experience
• Proven experience as a Van Technician / LCV Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
