Salary: Approx. £59,000 per year 
Shift: Monday–Friday, Alternate Earlies/Lates,

Join a leading independent commercial vehicle dealership serving a wide area across Shropshire, Cheshire, Staffordshire, and mid-Wales. The team provides full sales and aftersales support and works with some of the most recognisable commercial vehicle brands in the UK. With modern depots and highly trained staff, you’ll be supported with world-class training and all the tools needed to keep customer operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer job acceptance / ETA / ETC / job completion via dealer app and maintain close communication with assistance services

  • Attend stricken vehicles at the roadside or customer premises

  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to

  • Diagnose and rectify all types of faults, aiming for first-time fix

  • Liaise with customer fleet admin, recovery agents, and escort vehicles to depot as required

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard

  • Handle vehicles carefully while on premises

  • Work with parts department to attain necessary parts

  • Ensure accurate clocking, job cards, and service sheets are completed

  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and thorough product knowledge

  • Attend training courses to stay up to date with technical developments

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience attending HGV and PSV roadside breakdowns

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • HGV and PSV licence (desirable but not essential)

  • Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles

  • Experience in commercial vehicle workshops
