Hours: 40 hours per week, Early Shift 06:00–14:30 / Late Shift 13:30–22:00, alternate Saturdays 06:00–12:00

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV or LCV Technician to join a busy and thriving commercial vehicle workshop in Faversham. You will carry out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on HGVs and LCVs, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and road-ready. This is a great opportunity to enhance your skills with ongoing training and career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow service process maps to complete jobs efficiently

  • Be fully briefed on job requirements and budgets

  • Provide accurate diagnostics and specify repair solutions

  • Comply with time recording procedures and productivity codes

  • Ensure fully specified jobs are handed over for invoicing

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service

Skills and Knowledge

  • Significant dealership or commercial vehicle workshop experience

  • Good understanding of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual

  • Knowledge of standard times and service process stages

  • Technical product knowledge in HGV / LCV maintenance and repair

  • Awareness of customer operations and the impact of your work on their business

Required Qualifications

  • City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology – HGV or LCV

  • Ability to work methodically and organise daily tasks efficiently

  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and propose technical solutions

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
