Labourer (Shuttering)

Location: Bournemouth Train Station
Pay rate: Competitive (TBC)
Type: Temporary for 2–4 weeks, starting early March (TBC)
Hours: 7.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join their team on an active construction site at Bournemouth Train Station. This role will primarily involve supporting shuttering works and general site duties.

Key Responsibilities of the Labourer:

• Assisting carpenters and shuttering teams with formwork and shuttering tasks

• Moving materials and equipment safely around site

• Preparing and maintaining work areas

• Supporting concrete pours and related activities

• Cleaning and dismantling shuttering/formwork after use

• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures

• Carrying out general labouring duties as directed by the site supervisor

Requirements of the Labourer:

• Previous construction labouring experience (shuttering experience preferred)

• Valid CSCS card (essential)

• Strong understanding of site health and safety

• Ability to work well within a team

• Reliable, hardworking, and physically fit

Desirable for the Labourer:

• Experience assisting with formwork or shuttering carpentry

• Own PPE and basic tools

• Ability to read basic site drawings
