HGV Technician
Location: Dunstable
Hours: 40 hours per week, Early Shift 06:00–14:30 | Late Shift 13:30–22:00 | Alternate Saturdays 06:00–12:00
Pay: Up to £21 per hour DOE, with extra payments for Saturdays, standby, and call outs
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Vehicle Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Technician to join a busy dealership workshop. The Role:
• Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs efficiently to Service Process Maps
• Deliver accurate repair solutions and diagnostic outcomes
• Comply with time recording procedures and productivity codes
• Ensure fully specified jobs are handed to CSR for invoicing
• Work methodically and support the workshop team
The Requirements:
• City & Guilds, NVQ 3, or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology HGV / LCV
• Experience as a dealership Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Knowledge of VOSA requirements, MOT testers manual, and standard times
• Ability to analyse technical issues and propose solutions
• Basic Microsoft Outlook knowledge
