Week 3: 12:00pm – 10:00pm

We’re looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join the team at our Knighton depot. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be working on a range of commercial vehicles, ensuring they’re kept in top condition and compliant with safety standards. You’ll be joining a well-established team with consistent hours and opportunities for development.

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

  • Inspect, service, and repair HGVs and other commercial vehicles to DVSA standards

  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults

  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections

  • Maintain accurate job records and paperwork

  • Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician

Essential

  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic

  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Class 1 or 2 HGV licence

  • IRTEC certification

  • Experience with a variety of commercial vehicle makes
